About the Project
The website of the Smart City Berlin initiative was completely redesigned as part of a relaunch. In the conception phase, old content was reorganized or discarded and new content from the “Together Digital: Berlin” strategy was integrated. An initial prototype was created in close coordination with the client, which was then adapted to Berlin Partner's CD.
Concept Phase
First, the content of the new website, the target groups and basic requirements were defined in a workshop.
Based on these results, I designed a site map. The straightforward navigation structure helps visitors to quickly find what they are looking for. After further coordination with the client, I started designing and prototyping the individual subpages.

Low-Fidelity Protoype

Design
Afterwards, I created the high-fidelity prototype by adapting the low-fidelity prototype to the CD of Berlin Partner. Smart City Berlin was nevertheless given its own look to ensure a high recognition value.
A distinction is made between the primary colors and the secondary colors. The primary colors establish Smart City Berlin as an independent brand, while the secondary colors symbolize the affiliation to Berlin Partner.
